And this time the result stayed the same and he lost the fight by unanimous decision of the judges. But now it’s time for Colby Covington to settle his personal rivalry with this former teammate cum brother at the main event of UFC 272.

Jorge Masvidal on the other hand is one of those fighters in UFC whose name needs no introduction. He made his UFC debut against Tim Means at UFC on Fox: Henderson vs Melendez. He used to fight in the Lightweight division at the start of his UFC career but he soon turned his attention to the Welterweight division.

Masvidal lost his first title opportunity after securing a loss against Demian Maia at UFC 211. But he came into the limelight by securing the fastest KO in the UFC history by knocking out Ben Askren at UFC 239. After that, he fought against Nate Diaz for the symbolic BMF title and won that fight by doctor stoppage.

Following all this, he fought for the UFC Welterweight title for the fight time in a short notice fight against Usman at the main event of UFC 251. He lost that fight by the unanimous decision of the judges and he faced ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ one more time at the main event of UFC 261.
