Jiri Prochazka reigned as the light heavyweight champion in 2022 but had to vacate the title due to injury. Champions in the UFC have PPV points on their contract. Prochazka’s base salary is $750,000. This is due to his status as a champion who did not lose his belt. He would also get the PPV share as the headliner, a minimum of $100,000. By including the sponsorship money of $32,000, his total payout for UFC 295 is at least $882,000.

He then moved up in weight and defeated former champion Jan Blachowicz to earn the title shot at UFC 295. Pereira’s base salary is $1,000,000. This is due to his status as a former champion and a Glory Kickboxing Hall of Famer. He would also get the PPV share as the headliner, a minimum of $100,000.
