UFC 306 (Noche UFC) promises one of the most unique events in combat sports or even sports history. Dana White wanted to be the first one to put on such an event. He will have ‘Suga’ Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili headlining the event, and the PPV event will generate over $23 million in live gate revenue. UFC 306 payout will have Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili pocketing a huge amount.
The bantamweight title fight of UFC 306 (Noche UFC) should have happened at UFC 299. It didn’t happen as Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera got the opportunity instead. At UFC 292, O’Malley had a disclosed payout of $500,000 (not including PPV bonus). This quadrupled at UFC 299, and the promotion will have no other option, but to pay him more if he remains the champion.
Salary of Merab Dvalishvili for UFC 306
Merab Dvalishvili is riding a 10-fight winning streak heading into the Noche UFC main event. He made a disclosed pay of $210,000 at UFC 298. This doesn’t include the money earned from sponsorships. The ‘Machine’ from Georgia will earn the biggest paycheck of his career at UFC 306.
Merab Dvalishvili will earn a base payout of $500,000 due to being the title challenger. If he becomes the champion at UFC 306, this amount will increase further with sponsorships and PPV points. This will be a massive increase from his UFC 278 payout of $98,000 (+$98,000 to win).
Dvalishvili is an immigrant from Georgia. He has changed his life around in the United States. Winning the title means he will have secured a new contract with much more increased pay. Only time will tell if the Georgian fighter accomplishes his dream of winning the UFC gold.
