“All because I lost a fight”- Darren Till lashes out at Israel Adesanya for accusing him of stealing Tom Aspinall’s spotlight

Darren Till

Darren Till was in Tom Aspinall’s corner when he secured the biggest win of his career against Alexander Volkov at the main event of UFC London. He submitted Volkov in the very first round of their contest, and his whole team lost their mind after his performance. Aspinall celebrated his win with Till, and they both climbed the fence to enjoy the moment.

UFC’s middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya was watching the event with his friends, and he got pissed at Till for celebrating his win, he thought Darren was trying to steal his spotlight, and one of his friends said, ‘Let him enjoy this, he hasn’t won in a while.’ Adesanya’s whole gang started laughing, and Till had something to say about this.

Darren talked about this during his appearance on The MMA Hour. He claimed Adesanya reacts to his teammates’ performances in a similar manner, and it was hypocritical behavior on his behalf. He said, “It’s OK when he’s posting videos crying about his teammates? I think that s*it is lovely. But when Tom tells me to get on the cage and (celebrate) the moment, the guy who I know once wanted to retire… Tom told me that, and now look at where he is, he’s the best heavyweight on the planet, I can’t be happy for the guy? All because I lost a fight? So his little f*ing yes man, come on, let me be happy for Tom.”

It was Tom Aspinall. He’s one of the greatest in the world right now in MMA. Khamzat is the same, mate,” Till said. “Not many people surprise me, because I know I’m a beast.
