Silva recently did a virtual interview with Sports Naut.com in which the ‘Spider’ talked about his upcoming movie, boxing bout in Dubai and UFC.

While talking about his experience with UFC and what happened during his last moments in the promotion, Silva decided to share his heart out.

Silva revealed that as he was close to the end of his UFC tenure, Dana White told everyone that Silva can’t fight anyone and it’s hard to make fights with him. Silva explained that all these s*** talking made him feel disrespected as in a fight anything can happen. According to Silva, the UFC doesn’t care about its legends and their legacies. The former UFC champ suggested that the promotion uses its stars for money and after it abandons the fighters.

When I was done in UFC, everybody, especially Dana White said, ‘Oh, Anderson can’t fight anymore. Nobody in the same age with Anderson can fight, it’s terrible,’ and blah, blah, blah. And talking a lot of sh*t about me. And I feel disrespected because it doesn’t matter what happened . Fight is fight. You can win, you can lose… That’s the problem for the people in this sport, especially UFC because UFC doesn’t respect the legacy that fighters have. They try to use you and kick you out,” said Silva.

As a veteran MMA fighter and one of the GOATS of UFC it’s a little disappointing for the fans to hear something like this. Silva was undoubtedly one of those fighters who carried UFC to the level it is now.
