UFC fan-favorite Bryce Mitchell believes he is ready for the big guns as he claims to bring the featherweight belt back home to Arkansas.

UFC 272 turned out to be an amazing outing for the fighter from Arkansas, “Thug Nasty” Bryce Mitchell. The featherweight fighter returned to action after a two-year layoff owing to injuries but still got the result he wanted. Bryce was matched up against one of the best in the business, Edson Barboza, at UFC 272 in the main card.

Mitchell absolutely dominated the Brazilian in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mitchell won the fight via unanimous decision and extended his win streak to six fights. Mitchell has a strong fan base and most of them rooting from his hometown. To them, the fighter promises to bring the belt where it belongs. In a recent Twitter post, Mitchell wrote, “That belt is comin to Arkansas brother.”

Bryce jumped two spots on the featherweight ranking and currently sits at the #9 spot. He has some interesting matchups ahead of him and the featherweight division is stacked.
