Brandon Moreno has no respect for “ugly little guy” Henry Cejudo

Brandon Moreno does not like one member of the opponent’s team and it is his old training partner Henry Cejudo. Moreno and Figueiredo are scheduled to compete for the flyweight champion this Saturday in the co-main of the UFC 270.

Moreno when asked about the fight and Figueiredo’s team said, “A lot of drama in this fight but I respect too much Figueiredo, he’s a real fighter. He is a real real fighter, I don’t have too much respect for some guys of his team, another little ugly guy there. I don’t want to put some fame on him but yeah I have too much respect for Figueiredo because he’s a real monster. So, that was it in the first fight. In the second one, after the first one, I was like I can get the damage of this guy, I have the enough chin, I can wrestle with him, I can grapple with him”

Later in the interview when asked about Cejudo calling him a traitor, Moreno said, “I love drama, it’s part of the business, it’s part of the history. About the traitor, that word is huge. I really believe they have their own version of the history and I have my version of the history. I can start to say a lot of bad things about these but that’s not my style. The people know me that’s not my style. They want to get the camera and start to say things to sell the fight, it’s like to me that’s not it. They are the king of cringe for some reason.”

Brandon Moreno is expecting a better version of Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 270

Moreno is not expecting the fight to go the same way as the last one. Moreno is preparing for the best version for Deiveson Figueiredo. Moreno said, “I’m expecting a better Figueiredo. I’m expecting a guy more hungry than ever, trying to get the title back. He changed all his training camp and he went to Arizona to get new abilities. That’s important. He needed to do that because if he do the same for this fight, we already know the result. That’s why I’m excited for the challenge, to meet a new challenge. I’m expecting a better confident Figueiredo trying to get back the belt.
