No amount of title fights can shadow a Diaz brother fight according to Brian Ortega. The featherweight title contender believes Nick Diaz vs Robbie Lawler is the real highlight of UFC 266.

Brian Ortega takes on featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski in the main event of UFC 266. The event takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card is stacked with another title fight in the co-main event where Valentina Shevchenko defends her flyweight title against Lauren Murphy. But according to “T-City”, these title fights aren’t the real attraction. Nick Diaz vs Robbie Lawler fight in the card is what he believes is the best fight on the card. The two welterweight legends meet each other in the octagon after 17 years.

Ortega believes though it might seem like he is undermining his own fight, the truth is Diaz fans are going to be packed in the arena. Brian spoke to The Schmo about the amazing rematch.

In the interview with The Schmo, Ortega said he was super stoked for the rematch between the two welterweights. “I’m super stoked for it,” Ortega told The Schmo. “Trust me, I’m not a hater to my own fight but the fans will agree with me. That is kind of like the real main event. You know that fight is dope.”

“T-City” believes no matter who fights, if the Diaz brothers are fighting, one can witness a packed arena with amazing energy rooting for the Stockton fighter. “And now you see them fighting again. I haven’t seen Nick in a while. Any time if Nick or Nate Diaz show up, you know damn well that the energy is just lit. The arena is going to be packed with the Diaz fans,” said Ortega.
