“Canelo should be afraid”- Khamzat Chimaev trolls Kamaru Usman’s boxing ambitions

Kamaru Usman and Khamzat Chimaev
Khamzat Chimaev has trolled the welterweight king Kamaru Usman on Twitter. Chimaev is set to Gilbert Burns next, a bout which he plans on winning on his way to becoming welterweight Champion.
Kamaru Usman, on the other hand, has been pushing for a boxing fight with Canelo Alvarez who is currently the WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF and The Ring Super Middleweight Champion. Canelo has been on a tear in the boxing world, competing in different weight classes and collecting all the belts, widely regarded as the pound for pound best in the world he is one of the biggest stars today.
Chimaev hilariously trolled the UFC’s pound for pound #1, posting a video of Kamaru doing some very slow padwork. Kamarus’ movement emulates the speed of a turtle, a fact not missed by Chimaev. Chimaev wrote the caption “Canelo should be very afraid this is the guy to beat him (shrug emoji).”
A cross promotional event between the MMA and boxing world’s may lead to an event like Conor vs Mayweather, an exciting match for the fans of both sports. However UFC President Dana White is not too keen on the idea of Usman vs Alvarez. When asked about the potential fight Dana said, “I think that he is serious about it- he shouldn’t be serious about it. I don’t like that fight at all. Everything about it is horrible. Usman is not a boxer. Canelo is probably the best guy out there now. It’s a stupid fight that makes no sense.”

What’s next for Kamaru Usman and Khamzat Chimaev?
Kamaru Usman is set shield his UFC welterweight title when he fights Leon Edwards, which has been even affirmed by UFC president Dana White. With an amazing yet clean record, Edwards is at the top of his game and is deserving to at least take a shot for the title despite a great deal of people thinking otherwise.
Chimaev has a major welterweight fight of his own approaching up at UFC 273. Before what will undoubtedly be a vivacious and brutal competition , the Chechen warrior is going to get down and dirty with competitor Gilbert Burns. If Khamzat is to win, there is a very good chance that the UFC shall offer him the chance to hook the belt away from Kamaru.
