Ambien fueled Chael Sonnen gets his felony charges dropped but misdemeanor charges remain

Ex-UFC champion Chael Sonnen had a psychotic episode in December last year while in Las Vegas and injured a few people (Six) while on Ambien and claims to remember nothing. ‘The American Gangster’ was hit with five separate battery citations for his involvement.
“Sonnen was issued a battery citation for each individual victim, then escorted off the property,” Las Vegas Police Public Information Officer Larry Hadfield said. “Due to the fact the misdemeanors were committed outside of a police officer’s presence, an arrest was not conducted.”
While the felony battery charges were dropped, Chael probably let out a momentary sigh of relief just before the police re-filed his misdemeanor charges which would mean that Chael would have to appear at court soon enough. Sonnen is accused of assaulting six people (including one woman) during the alleged fracas out of which three had to be hospitalized.

Back when the Chael Sonnen incident occurred Jones had tweeted that he wouldn’t celebrate Sonnen’s mistakes, instead he would pray for the victims and Sonnen’s family. Jon threw that out of the window and did take a few jibes at the ex-champ. Bones tweeted about karma and took a very mature way to take a crack at the incident.
Daniel Cormier on the other hand criticized Sonnen and Jones’ mutual mudslinging but also knew that they wouldn’t let it go and take the high road, he stated: “What’s up with my boy Chael Sonnen and Jon Jones? I mean, fellas, we are grown men. You boys are slinging s**t at each other.”
“What I care about is: Now, the man that sat up there for years, Chael, has allowed for himself to be judged by a man that has truly been just the bu** of everyone’s jokes for so long. So, I ask myself, ‘Guys, are we adults? Yes, we are. But in this instance, do I think that Jones would act like one? Absolutely not. Is he wrong for not acting like one? Absolutely not.”
DC takes a neutral stand and sees this back and forth and tries to relate to both sides of the beef especially since he most understands how it is to have a beef with someone with whom one has shared an octagon with.
