UFC star Conor McGregor has never shied away from flashing his money and letting the world know he is rich. In recent times Conor McGregor’s net worth has been the talk of the town. The UFC superstar and businessman McGregor recently tweeted out suggesting he would want to buy the football club Manchester United.
According to Forbes, Manchester United is valued at $4.2 Billion dollars. Conor on 21st April tweeted out, “Hey guys, I’m thinking about buying Manchester United! What do you think?”
McGregor has had several financial feats in his fighting career. The notable ones are his fighting event against Floyd Mayweather that saw his bag 61 million, his fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov has the most sold PPV in the UFC’s history. Conor McGregor’s net worth is estimated to be $120 million. To put this into context, UFC star could purchase only 6% of the stake of the club.’

Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss claimed he was offered to buy the football club, Chelsea FC by its owner, Roman Abramovich. This decision came after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and according to Wyss, Abramovich is selling out all his assets as soon as possible, he said, “Like all other oligarchs, he is in a panic. Abramovich is trying to sell all his villas in England. He also wants to get rid of Chelsea quickly. I and three other people received an offer on Tuesday to buy Chelsea from Abramovich. I have to wait four to five days now. Abramovich is currently asking far too much. You know, Chelsea owe him £2bn.”
Conor was declared as the highest-paid athlete, but 2 or 3 billion Euros is way too much for him. Nonetheless, he is interested in buying the football club, and he revealed this with a Tweet. He wrote, “Chelsea for sale £3bn. Let’s buy it.”
