Ciryl Gane is one of the biggest superstars on the current UFC roster. The heavyweight fighter boasts a professional record of 11-1 and is already considered a highly technical fighter. Gane is a heavyweight who moves like a middleweight and has incredible striking skills.

Like many other MMA fighters, Gane also has a few tattoos on his body, which look pretty amazing. Although the UFC interim champion doesn’t have a lot of tattoos, the five he does have a deep meaning behind them.

One of the most prominent tattoos Ciryl Gane has on his chest is one that is placed in the middle of his pecks. The tattoo resembles something similar to a sun and is made in a tribal style. The tattoo can have various meanings, but most likely it has something to do with strength, light, and power.

Arm tattoos

Gane also has two identical arm tattoos, both on his lower elbow. Both tattoos have the same design, which is hard to interpret. The tattoos look similar to some old cultural designs.

Back tattoo

Gane is a huge individual and has a long tattoo on his back. The tattoo is right on his backbone and starts from his neck to his lower back. The tattoo has five figures joined by lines and looks extremely similar to the arm ones. However, after looking closely, there are certainly a lot of differences between them.

Left Thigh Tattoo

Unlike his other tattoos, whose meanings are hard to interpret, Gane’s left thigh tattoo is quite easy to understand. Just above his knee, Gane has written “Bon Gamin” in bold letters. It is also the nickname of the fighter and has a wonderful meaning behind it.

There’s no doubt that Ciryl Gane is an incredible fighter and puts in his best performance every time he steps into the octagon. In fact, in real life, the fighter has the same philosophy. While talking about his nickname “Bon Gamin,” Gane revealed that it is French and means staying young and humble throughout your life.

He said: “Bon Gamin’. It’s a French nickname. But that’s perfect. This is a mindset, ‘Bon Gamin’. Is like staying young forever, stay young on your mind forever. Stay young and do what you want to do. Stay humble.”  Rightly so Gane is one of the most technical fighter among the UFC heavyweights and moves like a middleweight, hence lives up to his nickname.

After failing once, Gane is yet to be crowned the heavyweight champion, but the fighter definitely has the potential to get his hands on the title. It will be interesting to see if the Frenchman manages to shock the world by becoming the next undisputed champion.
