Colby Covington comments on Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley
Colby Covington is rooting for his former rival, Tyron Woodley in his new venture as a boxer where he takes on Jake Paul.
Woodley is scheduled to fight Jake Paul in a boxing match on August 29th. Tyron’s former rival, Colby Covington is rooting for him mainly because he hates the YouTube star. The new welterweight challenger recently spoke about the Youtube boxer’s training camp and says his team exposed him. The welterweight contender feels like Tyron has the knockout power required to take out Paul.
Recently in an interview with James Lynch of MMA news Colby discussed this boxing match. “I think Woodley could do it,” Covington said.(h/t BJPenn.com). “I think he could land a knockout punch and get it done.” This is Tyron’s first fight in the sport of boxing and his opponent, Jake has fought 3 different opponents having won all three.

Talking about the YouTube star, “Chaos” continued by saying, “I’ve had some guys at the gym, Colby Covington Inc. and MMA Masters, that have gone to train with Jake in Miami,” Covington said. “They’ve all kind of said the same information, that they went there, they exposed him, they made him look bad. Of course, they turned the cameras off and they’re not taking pictures that day and they never invite these guys back because Jake ‘The Snake’ Paul only wants kids that he can beat up and knock out and boost his ego and his confidence.“
“He doesn’t actually want guys that are going to push him in the gym and make him better, because, like (sic) we’ve said before, he’s not a real fighter. He’s a little Disney star,” said Covington.
