Tyson Fury calls out Francis Ngannou after UFC 270
Francis Ngannou gets an immediate offer after he makes his first title defense at UFC 270. Tyson Fury has offered to fight the UFC champ for some “real money”.
Francis Ngannou is coming off a stunning win against his former teammate Ciryl Gane at UFC 270. The fighter shocked the entire Honda Center Arena in Anaheim, California with his impressive wrestling skills. Despite getting the win and defending his belt in spectacular fashion, Francis’s future in the UFC seems to be unsure. The fighter publicly revealed that he is willing to shift promotions and sports and box in his next outing.
“I’m really looking towards any opportunity to get that because it’s not like I had a lifetime here,” said Francis in his post-fight octagon interview with Joe Rogan today. The heavyweight champion is looking for a secure future and is willing to move out of the UFC. “So I better start thinking about it,” said Francis.
His interview seemed to have raised the eyebrows of the Gypsy King and Fury was quick to respond in his tweets as he called out Ngannou. “Congratulations Francis, but if you want to make some real money come see the GK,” wrote Tyson in his tweets.

Why does Francis Ngannou want to fight Tyson Fury?
Francis has revealed several times that his initial dream in childhood was to become a boxer. Owing to the various obstacles in life, the fighter had to seek MMA as a cope. Ngannou and the UFC have not been on good terms for quite some time now. The fighter has stated that he has not been treated well by the promotion and he deserves to get a bigger paycheck.
Even as a champion, for his spectacular win at UFC 270, Francis took home a paycheck of $600,000. It is a known fact that boxing is a sport that pays way more than MMA. Fury is also the biggest name in the boxing business and is one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.
Both Francis and Tyson have previously sparred verbally on social media and have initiated ideas for their potential boxing matchup. Fury is down to fight the hardest puncher in the world after his amazing victory against Deontay Wilder last year. With Francis Ngannou’s UFC contract drama, there are chances we might actually see the two heavyweights collide.
