Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor is non-arguably the biggest MMA star on this planet right now. The Irishman took on the UFC by storm and went on to become the first “champ-champ” in the history of the company. Conor was the perfect combination of hype and confidence, and he gained a massive fan base all throughout his career.

Conor was known for his unmatched trash talk and “ready to fight anyone” attitude. His knockout of the legendary Jose Aldo made him famous beyond measures. Conor then went on to become a double champ by defeating Eddie Alvarez, and then he challenged the boxing legend Floyd Mayweather for a boxing match.

The duo really had a tough fight, but Floyd came out on top with a stoppage in the later rounds, Conor then returned to the UFC after a long time and lost the fight to former lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, their rivalry took a dark turn when Conor assaulted Khabib and his teammate and got arrested for it. Then Conor challenged Dustin Poirier for a rematch and lost that one as well. He demanded an immediate trilogy match, and broke in his foot in that one, Conor was so pissed off after that fight, he issued a death threat to Dustin’s wife and his little daughter.

While he was recovering from his injury, he got involved in an altercation with the rapper Machine Gun Kelly at MTV Music Video Awards, Conor threw his drink at him, and fortunately, the altercation didn’t turn physical. Not even after a month from this incident, an Italian DJ has accused Conor of punching him in Rome, and he is going to press some charges against him.

Has Conor McGregor went too far away with his recent behavior?

There was a time when Conor McGregor was one of the most respected athletes in the community, but his recent behavior has made it incredibly hard for the fans to stand by him. Sending out death threats to Dustin’s daughter, and calling out Khabib’s dead father is way below the belt.

Conor isn’t in his prime right now, and he isn’t getting any better. Fans are really worried about him as these public lash-outs are getting more and more common. People used to support Conor because no matter what he used to do inside the octagon, he was a respectable individual, but with all this news coming in, it is safe to say that Conor is definitely losing the support of his fans.
