Conor McGregor shares a throwback memory from where it all started for the global superstar. McGregor is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in the world of combat sports. The Irishman made his UFC debut in 2013 and is still active now.

After his debut, Mcgregor went on to win seven consecutive fights and the featherweight belt against Jose Aldo. He made history after defeating Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 to become the first-ever UFC double champion.

During all these years, the young dreamer from Dublin has made a massive fortune for himself. McGregor has not only achieved greatness for himself but for sports too. His unique and cocky personality helped UFC to gain an enormous fan following and pay-per-view buys. He made UFC from a mediocre promotion to extremely entertaining.

UFC’s official Twitter account posted a clip of the first-ever weight made by Conor McGregor in his debut. It was at UFC on Fuel TV 9 back in 2013 in Stockholm, Sweden. UFC captioned it “#OnThisDay in 2013, we met @TheNotoriousMMA.” along with tagging McGregor.

In the clip, Mcgregor can be seen with his iconic undercut with the slicked-back haircut. He was weighing in against his debut opponent, Marcus Brimage in the featherweight division. In the fight, McGregor defeated Brimage via TKO in the first round. He also got his first bonus reward for the ‘ Knockout of the Night ‘ award.

The Notorious‘ took this opportunity to retweet the post and share it with his fans. McGregor explained nine years ago when he had his debut weigh-in in Stockholm, Sweden. The former UFC double champion revealed that back then during his debut he was extremely hungry for success and was in love with the sport. “Hungry and in love ❤️ 9 years ago today my ufc debut weigh in. Stockholm, Sweden,” wrote Mcgregor.

For many fight fans, it’s hard to believe that it has been nine years since McGregor made his UFC debut. Since then he has become one of the most entertaining and charismatic fighters of all time. Even though he is not in his best in recent times, his fans and followers are always excited to see when he will make his comeback.
