Nate Diaz might not have signed the official contract for his fight against Dustin Poirier. But the Stockton Slugger’s tweet suggests he can’t wait to sign the dot.
The fans aren’t the only ones restless to see UFC’s superstars fight each other in the octagon. Nate Diaz himself has gone tired trying to sign his contract against the “Diamond”. Instead of waiting out, the Diaz brother has given his “YES” to the fight via his Twitter account. In a recent tweet, the Stockton Slugger has slammed the UFC for delaying the fight has given his “signature” to fight Dustin Poirier.
“UFC stop playing wit me consider this my signature to fight this fucker I been trying to fight for a minute quit slowing down the real fight game it’s time,” wrote Nate in his recent tweet. Nate wasn’t the first to drop hints to his super fight. His opponent, Dustin has also been busy on social media teasing the confirmation of their fight.
“I’m gonna fight your ass,” wrote Dustin in a tweet quoting his rival Diaz’s famous catchphrase. Diaz had previously used the same words to call out his former rival Conor McGregor in a post-fight interview.

Prior to Nate calling out the promotion for delaying their fight, Dustin dropped continuous hints suggesting everything’s done for them to fight. Dustin also wrote a tweet saying, “The real fight game.” This tweet was followed by a fanmade poster that suggested the two have agreed to fight each other in a welterweight bout.
The Diaz vs Poirier fight has been long due for the fans. The two superstars were originally scheduled to fight each other at UFC 230 but the fight was called off owing to injury problems. The two fighters seem to have agreed to fight in a welterweight bout despite Poirier being a lightweight for most of his career.
Dustin is coming off a title fight loss against the lightweight champion Charles Oliveira at UFC 269. Dustin lost via submission and is now looking to size up to face the Stockton Slugger. Nate on the other hand is coming off a loss against the welterweight contender Leon Edwards. The fighter despite the loss stole the show with his final minutes in the fight where he stunned Edwards.
