Conspiracy: Fans come up with a wild theory that suggests Conor McGregor’s pub is a front for laundering money for the infamous Kinahan Cartel
Conor McGregor Consipired of money Laundering
Conor McGregor’s name is surfacing the internet over a drug company money laundering conspiracy. It all started when Conor McGregor got into a physical altercation with a 50-year-old guy at a bar in Dublin. According to the conspiracy, the 50-year-old guy was the father of Graham Whelan, aka ‘the wig’ who works for the Kinahan drug cartel, the biggest drug smuggling organization in Ireland.
The head of the cartel is said to be Daniel Kinahan who is a well-reputed Irish gang boss and boxing promoter from Dublin. Whelan is a convicted drug trafficker and has been working for Kinahan for years.
After the incident at the pub, Paul Williams, an Irish crime journalist reported about the possible assassination of McGregor for 900,000 euro as bounty. But there were no such attempts at Conor McGregor.
Later it was found that McGregor was clubbing with Whelan in a club. Days after on 24th April of 2021, McGregor bought the same pub for 2.4 million euro and renovated it for 1 million euro. This process took some time and the pub was finally opened to the public by the name of Black Forge Inn. The pub got a lot of attention for being owned by McGregor and was always full of customers.
In the month of January of 2022, the Black Forge Inn was by two unknown individuals by petrol bombs. And the motive behind it has never been discovered by the Irish police. The main theory about the attack is that the cartel had asked McGregor to help them in money laundering and in return, he will face no harm. This deal between both the parties made other gangsters unhappy and they planned the whole petrol attack to send their warning.
Conor McGregor’s sister Aoife recently visited a gang member in prison
In the first week of January, a report was circulated in the media regarding McGregor‘s sister Aoife McGregor visiting a money laundering gang member at the Portlaoise prison. It was later revealed that the prisoner was none other than Graham Whelan who was jailed last November.
He was charged with laundering money for the Kinahan cartel and was imprisoned for 18 months. While only McGregor and his close ones can only validate the veracity of this theory, Ms. McGregor clearly denied every question regarding the visit and wasn’t ready for any media interactions.
