Darren Till is a former UFC fighter who competed in the welterweight and middleweight divisions. In 2018, he was among the top fighters in the welterweight division and competed for the UFC welterweight title in London. From his early days as a UFC fighter, Till had a tattoo on his girlfriend on his left arm. However, in recent times, it has changed to a gorilla.
Darren Till goes by the nickname ‘Gorilla’ during his UFC appearances. Fight fans noticed it during the fight week of UFC 282. Till took on a surging South African fighter, Dricus Du Plessis, at UFC 282. Unfortunately for Till, he could not defeat Du Plessis as he lost the bout via submission in the third round.
Dana White and the UFC released Till in 2023. Since losing to Tyron Woodley in 2018, he lost another four bouts before getting removed from the UFC. Reports suggested that Till asked for his release to pursue other fight interests. Rumors indicate that Till could fight Mike Perry in the BKFC.

What tattoo did Darren Till initially have?
Former UFC fighter Darren Till had a tattoo of his then-girlfriend Laura Bennett. Laura Bennett is a lip blush tattooist based in Liverpool. The couple started dating in 2018 and is rumored to have split up sometime in 2022. They have three daughters. Gossip circulated in the British press revolved around Till’s ability not to parent his children.
The original tattoo on Till’s left arm featured the face of Laura Bennett. However, in 2022, he converted the tattoo into a gorilla tattoo. Fight fans noticed the tattoo before his fight with Dricus Du Plessis. Darren Till fought in a losing effort against Du Plessis at UFC 282. Till never evolved his wrestling defense or his ground game. Du Plessis took advantage of that situation and outwrestled Till to get the submission victory in the third round.

The man, whose identity remains undisclosed, had an arm tattoo of his ex-wife. After the divorce, he changed the tattoo into a gorilla-like figure, just like Till did in 2022. In the case of this unknown individual, he had the tattoo on his right arm, unlike Till. Only time will tell if Darren Till influences enough people to cover up the tattoo of their girlfriends or partners after a breakup.
