Diego Sanchez breaks off with Joshua Fabia
UFC veteran Diego Sanchez has finally decided to break things off with his manager, coach, and fitness guru, Joshua Fabia. The duo have been the headlines for a long time since their rift off with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The Hall of Fame fighter told MMA Fighting about the news of splitting paths with Joshua Fabia on Thursday. Diego is certain that he will no longer work with Fabia and he will elaborate on the scenario later. Sanchez added no comments further. The fighter will need some time to get his stuff together and then will make an official announcement.
Sanchez and his attorney were involved in this. Sanchez’s attorney, Charles Lakins, told MMA Fighting that the decision to split ways was made on Thursday and the fighter will no longer have any business ties with Joshua. “Any power of attorney that Fabia had has been rescinded/terminated,” Lakins said.
When did Diego Sanchez and Joshua Fabia start working together?
A lot of people working close to Diego and people around the MMA circle claim that the veteran used to be doing fine until he met his then trainer Joshua Fabia. Ever since then he has been a menace and acting bizarre. Sanchez began to work with Fabia in 2019 prior to his fight with Mickey Gall at UFC 235.
Diego claimed that Fabia was his healer, trainer, and Guru. A lot of clashes came about between Fabia and the UFC employees which finally led to the termination of Sanchez’s contract from the promotion. Now that the duo is broken apart, could we see a possible move back to the company for Diego?
