Nina Diaz is the youngest sister of Nate and Nick Diaz. Nina was raised along with her brothers in Stockton, California. Nina has always avoided the media and has liked to live a rather private life. Being the sister of two of the biggest superstars of the MMA world, Nina has successfully kept herself out of the limelight. Moreover, she has never been spotted in any of the Diaz brother’s fights.
The siblings were raised by a single mother and had a lot of struggles growing up. Melissa Diaz faced a lot of challenges raising her kids in a place like Stockton, which is infamous for its gangs and violence. According to reports, Melissa had to work as a full-time waitress to support the family of four and the absence of a father made everything harder for the family.
Nina Diaz and her brothers were very close growing up and did all the things together. Back in the day, Nina used to train in karate with her brothers. While she quit training after a while, Nate and Nick continued and later shifted to jiu-jitsu.

Nate and Nick Diaz have always been close and their brotherly love is well-known among the fans. The Diaz brothers are considered the OGs of MMA because of their no-filter personalities. As a family, they have come a long way from all the suffering from the past. Once talking about their growing up, Nate said:
“We were pissed off kids, but she’d say (their mother), ‘No, people are good’. But growing up, Nick was older, he knew everything was bad. He knew other people weren’t like this, they had good stuff and nice houses. We’d be sitting in the motel waiting for my mom to get off work. My sister and I didn’t know any better. As long as cartoons were on, we were fine. But Nick, he knew. People would always mess with Nick. He’s always been like that.”
Nate frequently shares pictures of his childhood along with his siblings on his official Instagram account. Recently, he posted an old picture of him, Nick, and Nina while wishing them happy birthdays.
He wrote, “Happy birthday to my brother and sister luhyall ?❤️?.” Nick and Nate Diaz will go down as some of the most entertaining fighters of all time. It will be hard to find more fighters who are as honest and real as the Diaz brothers.
