In the main event of UFC Vegas 102 (UFC Fight Night 251), Jared Cannonier and Gregory Rodrigues went against each other in a violent clash. After four rounds of back and forth, the ‘Killa Gorilla’ won the fight via TKO. It was an incredible fight that left the fight fans in awe and wanting more.
In the first round of the fight, Cannonier got dropped twice by Rodrigues, and it looked like the fight would be over soon. ‘RoboCop’ was in great form and was landing some heavy shots. However, the former middleweight title candidate managed to make a comeback.
In the second round, Jared Cannonier was more calm and started connecting more strikes and high kicks. He used them cleverly to slow down Rodrigues’ momentum. This worked as the Brazilian’s punches started losing intensity as he dealt with damage.
