Anderson “The Spider” Silva has had a legendary career in the Octagon. The former middleweight champ bid farewell to the octagon as he donned his gloves one final time. He took on Uriah Hall at UFC fight night: Vegas, but the night ended in a heartbreaking loss for him.

The twitter community was filled with messages congratulating Silva on his career. Many wanted Silva to end it on a winning note, and were visibly upset that he lost. Many, from Jon Jones to Israel Adesanya, payed their respects to the spider.
