“Going to learn so much about them”- Jon Jones is keeping a close eye at the main event of UFC 270
Jon Jones is unsure of the outcome of the upcoming heavyweight clash between the champion Francis Ngannou and the interim champion Ciryl Gane. Jones, who took time to bulk up in order to compete at heavyweight, is the potential next challenger for the winner of the championship fight this Saturday in the main event of UFC 270.
Jon Jones has been teasing a move to the heavyweight division for over a decade but last year his intentions looked more promising than ever when he vacated his LHW championship and took time to gain some muscle for the heavyweight. Jones has always been a smart fighter when comes to fighting and it appeared like he is taking time out to overcome the size difference at HW. A move to HW is inevitable for him at this point as he has no money to get and nothing to prove at LHW
“Really have no clue who’s going to win, I’m just excited to watch the fight. Going to learn so much about the both of them no matter how it goes down” Jones wrote when asked about his prediction of the fight.
Jon Jones is still evolving, training with Henry Cejudo to learn new tricks
Jon Jones had a home in Jackson-Wink MMA gym in his hometown Albuquerque, New Mexico. Since his latest controversy with his wife and the kids came out his long-time coach Mike Winklijohn has forced him out of the gym.
Jones is no longer allowed to train at Jackson Wink MMA. In order to train and find sparring partners Jones apparently explored a few places and settled down with none other than triple C himself Henry Cejudo at Fight Ready MMA in Arizona for the time being.
