“Jon Jones will win the UFC Heavyweight Title”- Michael Bisping slams DC for his Jon Jones’ prediction for 2022

Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier

Daniel Cormier earlier predicted that Jones will lose to either Gane or Ngannou if he fights for the UFC HW championship in 2022. Michael Bisping on the other hand does not see eye to eye with Cormier and predicts Jon Jones would win the UFC HW championship in 2022.

Michael Bisping disagrees with Daniel Cormier and said Cormier’s opinion may be flawed because DC does not like Jones. Jones has never been in the good books of DC and it could possibly reflect on his prediction of Jones not winning the HW championship against whoever holds the HW title when they fight.

According to Michael Bisping, DC, because of his rivalry with Jones, does not want Jones to get success at HW. Bisping stated that since DC has been an HW champion himself, he would not like to see Jones do the same and get similar success. This is probably why DC is picking Gane or Ngannou to get the better of Jones if Jones chooses to fight at HW and challenge for the championship fight in 2022.

Daniel Cormier on his show DC and RC had backed his prediction with the facts that both Gane and Ngannou are next-level athletes and are very big for Jones. Both of them have a good chance to beat Jones considering Jones has not been active recently and has never competed in the HW division. These thoughts coming from Cormier could be a bit shocking as he previously stated that Jones will be successful at HW.

Michael Bisping believes Jon Jones is one of the best to ever do it despite Jones being accused of PEDs. Bisping believes Jones is still young enough for HW and will be able to manage the power of the HW division. Bisping also suggested that Jones gaining too much size could make him slow but he would still be faster and more athletic than the guys at HW.

Bisping is not counting out Jones in the HW division and believes he has a good chance of winning the title. It is a matter of whether Jones will actually fight in the UFC in 2022. Jones has been teasing HW for a long time but he has yet to do his debut in the division. Jones is considered by many the greatest fighter to ever compete inside the octagon. His move to HW was believed to be inevitable but yet to come to fruition.
