Sean O'Malley backs Conor McGregor against UFC superstars

Conor McGregor has a huge fan in Sean O’Malley as the bantamweight star boldly backs the Irishman against some of the most elite level fighters in the UFC welterweight roster.

Sean O’Malley in his recent podcast episode of BrO’Malley Show said that McGregor could beat the likes of Khamzat Chimaev, Kamaru Usman, and Colby Covington. The Suga Show believes there is no one in the UFC that could take down all of those elite fighters other than Conor McGregor. O’Malley also believes that the Irishman could take them anyplace, anytime.

Khamzat Chimaev is currently booked to face the recent title contender Gilbert Burns in a possible title eliminator fight. Chimaev is one of the favorites to become a champion in the welterweight division. A win against Burns could possibly see him fighting for the title next. O’Malley also spoke about this. “I think if he’s good as, like, boom, he does beat Burns, that’s [Khamzat vs Kamaru] a very interesting fight,” said Sean on his show.

Conor has recently started hitting the pads after his devastating injury against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The Irishman has been on a losing skid for the last two fights and is 1-3 in his last four fights. His only win in the last four years is against welterweight veteran Donald Cerrone.

“There’s one man though, that can take all those motherf**kers out. Conor McGregor. Any weight, any time, any place. I think he beats Kamaru, C**shot, and [Colby Covington],” said O’Malley on his show. Conor is currently believed to make a return to the octagon this fall but against whom is the question that remains to be unanswered.

Dana White has said that a trilogy fight between McGregor and Nate Diaz is undeniable at this point and he would be shocked if that didn’t happen. Do you think McGregor can handle the likes of Colby, Kamaru, and Khamzat? Watch Sean O’Malley’s full episode below:
