Ilia Topuria calls out Paddy Pimblett at UFC London

It wouldn’t have mattered if Paddy Pimblett won or lost his fight at UFC London because Ilia Topuria was ready to fight the scouser irrespective of the results that night. Spaniard Topuria has his eyes set on Pimblett for his next fight.

Ilia Topuria and Paddy Pimblett made the headlines a couple of days before the fight when they got into a brawl ahead of the huge Fight Night in London. It is safe to say that Ilia does not like Pimblett after that infamous brawl. The Spaniard was matched up against Jai Herbert to kick off the main card at UFC Fight Night 204 and he delivered a fantastic performance followed by an amazing post-fight call out.

Ilia was very close to being knocked out in front of a packed O2 Arena but somehow managed to turn things around and brutally knocked out his opponent in the second round. Following the ecstatic win, Topuria was interviewed by Michael Bisping. Unfortunately, Bisping couldn’t get the insight he wanted from Topuria about the fight as “El Matador” was not wasting any time to call out his foe, Paddy The Baddy.

Ilia fought his first fight in the lightweight division in the UFC and has only four fights in the promotion, two more than his potential opponent for his next fight. Ilia has now finished three of his last four opponents and is looking to finish Pimblett in the octagon.

In his post-fight interview, Ilia didn’t waste time to call out Pimblett. “He’s a b*tch. Paddy Pimblett, win or lose, I want to fight you next and kick your ass like I did the last time,” yelled Topuria into the microphone. “F**k you! I want that blonde b**ch. That Paddy b**ch!”

Topuria was booed throughout his call-out by the English fans as he abused their fighter. Despite Ilia’s brave call-out, rising star, Paddy brushed it off by saying, “Everybody wants to fight me, everybody wants to hang on my coattails. Nobody knew who hand sanitizer boy was.”
