The fight between Islam Makhachev and Beneil Dariush is going to be a very influential bout as it can decide the future lightweight contender. The fight is all set to take place at UFC Fight Night on February 26.
Both the fighters have an impressive record and they are shooting for a title shot. Makhachev is on a splendid nine-fight win streak and has proven his skills against fighters like Drew Dober, Thiago Moises, and Dan Hooker. Currently, the fighter is #4 in the UFC lightweight rankings and a win against Dariush will definitely give him a title shot against Charles Olivera.

Both Khabib and Islam trained under the mentorship of great Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, and ever since he passed away, Khabib took on the role of Islam’s mentor, and he’s been the instrumental part of his corner.
They are working very hard for this next fight Beneil, and Khabib recently posted a photo of Islam training, he wrote, “It was good sparring day, and I am very glad to see how Islam is ready. 26 days before the fight. Everything on point.”
