Khamzat “Borz” Chimaev might have not been in the UFC for a long time but in very little time, the fighter has managed to create a very good platform for himself. There is no doubt that right now, Khamzat Chimaev is the best fighter to watch inside the octagon as an MMA fan. The fighter from Chechnya has managed to finish all of his opponents and earn the privilege to call out the best of the best after just four fights in the promotion.

Khamzat has a record of 10-0 in his entire professional career and has finished all of his opponents. The fighter is 4-0 in the UFC and has two fights in welterweight and middleweight each. He has barely been scratched by his opponents and the fans crave to see him fight the top-ranked fighters. Chimaev too is not shying away from calling out THE BEST in the world right now.

He called out for a fight against the middleweight champion, Kamaru Usman, and the champ said he is doing everything right, and he might see him sooner than everyone expected.

Chimaev’s teammate Alexander Gustafsson recently appeared in an interview with Brett Okamoto from ESPN. Brett asked him to give his honest opinion on what would happen if “The Borz” were to fight “The Nigerian Nightmare” this month only. Gustafsson said, “I think he put Kamaru Usman to sleep honestly. I think he just touches his chin… it’s a big chance that Usman goes to sleep.”

He added, “I like Usman he’s a great champ, he just like been breaking records and you know it’s just a very..it’s a pleasure to see him fight because he’s a very good technical..you know I love his jab and his wrestling and you know you can see that he’s on top, but I just can’t see him take Khamzat’s punches. I can’t see him take his combinations, when it comes to wrestling part, it would be also a pleasure.. it would probably be the biggest fights in the UFC history.”
