Jake Paul reacts to UFC 270 fighter payouts, teases next move against low fighter pay
Jake Paul
UFC 270 has come to an end but none can say that the event wasn’t a success. We’ve had a new champion crowned by the name of Deiveson Figueiredo and another who continues to dominate a division and that’s none other than the deadliest heavyweight fighter in the world, Francis Ngannou.
You would expect that fighters who took part at UFC 270 would be paid substantially by the biggest MMA promotion center in the world but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Reports were out as to how much each fighter has made and well take a look for yourselves.
Just one boxer having made more than almost 17 times the amount that the entire roster of UFC 270 is a joke.
Francis Ngannou, the UFC heavyweight champion has not even made a million from his fight with interim champion Ciryl Gane. He’s literally made 50 times lesser than what Tyson Fury has made in his fight against Deontay Wilder. That’s just shocking as to how less UFC fighters make.
Jake Paul was back again to shed light on the UFC’s fighters’ pay and he looks to be making a major announcement tomorrow.
He tweeted, “I can’t stress enough how bad this is.. My next step for helping with this situation will be announced tomorrow. PAY FIGHTERS MORE.”
Jake Paul possibly making an announcement with MMA veteran Antonio McKee
Jake Paul is reportedly set to announce something big with former MMA fighter and coach Antonio McKee.
Paul recently reacted to a tweet that showcased how much each fighter was paid at UFC 270 and it’s safe to say that the number is staggeringly low.
‘The Problem Child’ reacted by tweeting that he would be making a major announcement tomorrow and it’s expected to be a plan to improve fighters’ pay.
Earlier this month, McKee spoke on ‘The Mystic Hour‘ podcast and said that he and Paul are working on a project that will benefit fighters.
“Unfortunately, I was treated really badly by the UFC after being undefeated for like eight years,” McKee said. I was on an eight-year run where I was treated real bad but I was very fortunate and blessed to meet a guy like Jake Paul. He’s saying and doing a lot of things that at first I thought was for the clout but then I realized was actually because he’s about the fighter.”
“There’s something really big about to pop, I’m not going to say too much because I’m not supposed to but you’re going to hear something big in the next week and Jake Paul is one of the people who made it happen.”
Well, be sure to check out Twitter tomorrow on what this major announcement is.
