“You’re the best, but let’s fight,” Jake Paul offers Khabib Nurmagomedov a fight offer; says he wouldn’t troll the Dagestani
Jake Paul and Khabib Nurmagomedov
Jake Paul has some big ambitions and this might be one of the most unrealistic ones. The YouTube boxer proposes a fight offer to the former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Jake Paul is coming off a stunning victory against former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. He beat “The Chosen One” via split decision and silenced his haters once again. He is now 4-0 in his professional boxing career and has some big fighters as targets in his “hit-list”. Paul has revealed that he would like to fight the likes of superstars like Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz, Jorge Masvidal, and many more. In a recent episode of the FULL SEND PODCAST, the YouTube boxer revealed he is open to fighting Khabib Nurmagomedov.
In the episode, while talking about his boxing career and future opponents, Paul and the boys brought up Khabib. “I have so much respect for him, I wouldn’t troll him. I’d be like ‘You’re the best, but let’s fight,'” said Paul in the interview. But Jake has previously said that he would not be interested in fighting Khabib. Guess things changed after that Woodley win.
What Khabib Nurmagomedov thinks about Jake Paul
Though one might not think that someone as disciplined as Khabib would like Jake, surprisingly he supported the Paul brothers in a recent interview of his. When a lot of UFC fighters were riled up about Jake and Logan making more money than them with very less professional fights, Khabib defended the Paul brothers.
In an interview with ESPN, Khabib asked the champions like Francis Ngannou to not whine about the money Jake is making. “Like, right now I watch a lot of fighters right now… a lot of champions, they cry saying, ‘give me this, give me this’, some bloggers make a lot of money,” said Khabib. Nurmagomedov said Jake and Logan bring more to the table than what the champions do.
