Joe Rogan is a popular personality around the world. His podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, hosts various guests from different fields. Joe Rogan once had a fascinating conversation with fellow comedian Bill Burr about UFC fighters and tigers in Sunderbans.
“There’s an area called the Sunderbans…,” Joe started. “Sunderban tigers over the last 200 years have killed more than 300,000 people,” he revealed. Both comedians were smoking while having this conversation. Bill Burr nonchalantly said, ” Believe it or not, it’s a quick death”. Joe agreed. Bill Burr revealed that he already had his actions planned out if he ever encountered a tiger.
Bill revealed that he would give up and offer his neck. “… and make some…offensive moves just to get it to go right towards it.” Bill compared his strategy to the UFC fighters who refuse to submit and would rather get choked out than knocked out. ” It’s the same thing, you just go to sleep,” he said. “… it probably hurts for a second, “ Rogan concurred.
They discussed an incident where a tiger was captured on video chasing two men on a motorcycle at full speed and barely missed them. The podcast is JRE #1348 back in 2019. The discussion on the tigers began because Bill Burr was out promoting his then-latest special, ” Paper Tiger.”
Joe Rogan’s rumored feature in the upcoming GTA 6
Recent buzz in the gaming world linked Joe Rogan to the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6. This isn’t the first time Rogan’s name has been associated with the blockbuster game series. In 2011, there were reports that the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) had reached out to the game developers with hopes of featuring their podcast on the game’s radio stations. However, those discussions ultimately led to a dead end.
Fast forward to 2023, and rumors resurfaced, suggesting that Joe Rogan might finally make his mark in the world of Grand Theft Auto. On September 3rd, 2023, the blog audioviser claimed inside information, stating that a source close to Rockstar Games had hinted at Rogan’s involvement in the next GTA installment. But are these rumors grounded in reality?
Intriguingly, website 9to5software decided to investigate further and reportedly conversed with a Rockstar spokesperson. A report suggested the Rockstar Games spokesperson clarified that the rumors remain false. No plan exists for Rogan to appear in the game. Nevertheless, given Rogan’s current stature and the extensive coverage of these rumors, one can’t help but wonder if Rockstar Games might reconsider their stance in the future.
