Joe Rogan has a stocky physique and weighs over 200 pounds. The UFC commentator follows various health diets and works out on a regular basis. Rogan recently commented on Alex Pereira, revealing a shocking fact about the former middleweight champion.

Alex Pereira lost to long-time rival Israel Adesanya at UFC 287 Adesanya via knockout. Pereira has decided to move up to the light heavyweight division after excessive weight cuts to reach the middleweight limit. He will fight Jan Blachowicz for his light-heavyweight debut. Pereira could be the best striker in the UFC and possess immense knockout power.

Joe Rogan complimented Pereira in an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience with Cory Sandhagen. He said, “He’s got that one-punch KO power, one-strike KO power. And he’s so intelligent about how to place it on a chin. And then on top of that, he’s fu**ing enormous. You can’t believe that guy weighs 185 lbs.” Rogan revealed he weighed around 200 lbs and was surprised by the fact that Pereira weighed lighter than him despite being ginormous in size.

Rogan said, ” You know I walk around I’m probably like 200 lbs, how the f**k is that guy 15 lbs lighter than me? He’s so much bigger than me!” Joe Rogan is 5’7″ in height, whereas Pereira is 6’4″. That is a significant height difference, and the fact that Pereira walks lighter than Rogan remains astonishing. The Brazilian never had trouble making weight and will soon fight in the light-heavyweight division.

Only three months after a KO loss against Israel Adesanya, Alex Pereira is making his UFC comeback, and this time in a brand new division. Pereira is a huge star despite having very few fights in the UFC. He became a UFC champion in his fourth fight.

Pereira will soon fight in the light-heavyweight division after matching up with Jan Blachowicz at UFC 291. The two fighters will co-main event the PPV card in Salt Lake City, Utah, in July. Pereira could fast-track himself to a title shot if he could destroy Jan in a devastating fashion.

Alex Pereira addressed his upcoming fight with the 40-year-old Polish Blachowicz on his Youtube channel. “My next opponent is Jan Blachowicz. He is a dangerous guy, an experienced guy.” Blachowicz is a former UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion. He will prove to be a formidable opponent for Pereira due to the Brazilian’s weakness in wrestling.
