‘Hey, I just want to say congratulations and welcome back‘ – Jon Jones to Fedor Emelianenko
Jones told Fedor, “Hey, what’s up man. How are you Fedor? Hey, I just want to say congratulations and welcome back. Yea I am very excited for you. I will talk to you later.”
An elated Fedor kept replying with umpteen respectful ‘Thank Yous’. Fedor is currently 44-years old, and is certainly in the twilight phase of his career. He will be looking forward to making every fight count from here onwards.
As for Jones, he is looking forward to making his heavyweight debut, which has been impeded due to a payment dispute with UFC President Dana White. He is expected to take on Francis Ngannou, provided the coast is clear. And more recently, Ciryl Gane is among the top-ranked heavyweight mix, too. It will be interesting to see how things pan out in the heavyweight division.
