The UFC 269 is about to begin and Justin Gaethje has a lot to say about Dustin Poirier

Justin Gaethje speaks up about the clash between Dustin Poirier and Charles Oliviera at the UFC 269. Gaethje is an American MMA fighter who participates in the Lightweight division and was the interim Lightweight division titleholder.

Gaethje is from a wrestling background, but it is rarely seen in his fighting style. He is not a fan of takedowns and is famous for his aggressive stand-up fighting style.

His history with wrestling and MMA goes far. He has been wrestling since he was four years old. He was a winner of multiple local championships and the undisputed champion of the World Series of Fighting (WSOF), where he gained the title of lightweight champion

He joined The UFC in 2017 and fought Micheal Johnson in his debut fight. He fought with such ferocity that he was awarded the Fight of the Night and Performance of the Night award. He later faced Dustin Poirier in 2018, where he lost via TKO.

In a pre-match analysis meeting, Justin Gaethje was very vocal about his opinions on the upcoming fight between Dustin Poirier and Charles Oliviera. He said, “He [Dustin] is not very dangerous. He is as technical can come. He just puts the shots on the money”

DC then questioned him, “Is he powerful? Does he hit hard?“, to which Gaethje responded, “His timing is great. The power, you know, means timing and distance management. Those all are factors when it comes to turning people’s lights off.”

He was then asked about Dustin’s most effective shot and which shot should he use to get Oliviera in the early rounds. Justin responded, “I wouldn’t call it a hook, I would call it a straight and I’d say it’s from his left.”

He also spoke about Charles Oliviera. He stated, “I think that with the confidence Oliviera has, he will not quit. The pressure he has of representing Brazil, he’s not gonna quit.
