Kevin Lee on Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor is known for his lavish lifestyle outside the octagon, people accused Conor of being an international drug dealer and he convinced his UK fans that this certainly wasn’t the case.

Now that he is on a two-fight losing streak, the former lightweight contender Kevin Lee is digging up these allegations to take a shot at the Irishman. In an interview with James Lynch, he said, “I see a guy who is very frustrated and kind of staying with the same old schtick. It’s not showing any growth in your game or who you are as a person when you rely on the same things.”

He added, “But it’s gone to a different level. I dunno. Drugs are a hell of a thing. Drugs really take you out of it. I dunno. Best of luck to him, though. It seems like he’s going through a rough time, and it happens. But to me as a competitor, I never really looked at him, anyways. But of course, that fight still interests me, why not, why wouldn’t you do it? But I hope he’ll be able to pull it together.”

Kevin Lee is ready to comeback at the welterweight to take on the young prospect Daniel Rodriguez at UFC Vegas 35, Lee believes this could be the chance he was looking for, and states that Usman is in for a real challenge this time.

“Usman is a great champ, I’ll give it to him. But I don’t think he’s really been challenged by anybody, and I’m here to give him that challenge,” Lee said. “Leon is not really up there. Colby going to put up a good fight. Leon will make a good fight, but he don’t bring the complete package. He might bring some decent fighting skills, but it takes more than that in this game, I feel like… There’s some big names, yeah some decent names. But they don’t do shit.”
