Khabib Nurmagomedov admits Dana White was right about the hardships of running an MMA promotion, plans to meet the UFC President for advice
Khabib Nurmagomedov to meet Dana White
Khabib Nurmagomedov’s MMA promotion finally made its US debut. The Eagle FC saw great success in their very first fight event on the US Soil but Khabib surely believes he has a long way to go in this business and hopes to learn from his old boss Dana White.
Khabib Nurmagomedov decided to start his own MMA organization in the name of Eagle FC after his retirement in 2020. The Russian promotion made its US debut today at Eagle FC 44. The event had some huge names in their fight card and took place at the FLXcast Arena in Miami, Florida. The former UFC champion received a lot of praise from his US audience for the smooth stream and how well the card was put together.
However, Khabib admits he is only beginning and understands what the UFC President meant when he said, “He will learn the hard way.” Talking to the press at the event, Khabib says he was very nervous the morning of the promotion and believes he could learn a lot from the meeting with Dana White in the coming days.

He’s the best in the game and it is a big honor to learn from him.”
Khabib’s promotion has signed some big names from the UFC itself. The likes of Kevin Lee, Rashad Evans, Ray Borg, Tyrone Spong, and others are now part of Eagle FC. Khabib also said that he was really nervous the morning he woke up heading into the event.
“Today when I wake up I was nervous like I’m going to fight tonight,” said Khabib. Did you watch Eagle FC 44 today? How would you rate your experience?
