The former UFC Lightweight champion and number one pound-for-pound fighter, Khabib Nurmagomedov is discovering new ventures, since he announced his retirement from UFC.

Nurmagomedov announced retirement after his win against Justin Gaethje at UFC 254. Since then ‘The Eagle’ has been keeping himself busy and unlike other UFC fighters who are running towards boxing, Khabib Nurmagomedov is going back to his childhood love, Football.

In some of his recent videos, Khabib showed his excellent dribbling skills that received a compliment from Brazilian legend Ronaldo himself. While talking on the Q&A session of Facebook, ‘The Eagle’ says,

“If some clubs, they offer me, they make me an interesting offer, I’m gonna accept this, Football is, for me, best sport…. Football is on another level. MMA, I like MMA, I like fighting. I like competition with people, with the best fighters in the world. But football, for me, is, like, best sport.” {H/T MMA Fighting}

‘The Eagle’ Khabib Nurmagomedov likes to excel in every field in whichever he steps. After leaving MMA on the top by being the most dominating UFC champion and staying undefeated in his career, Khabib is undefeated as a coach as well.

He is giving training to his brothers and other Dagestani MMA fighters and now he wants to start his new venture in Football. ‘The Eagle’ already received offers from two third-tier football clubs.

Nurmagomedov added, “A lot of football clubs, they offer me, but I have to little bit become football shape because football shape is a little bit different than MMA, When you have to fight in MMA when we have to play in football, this is two different sports.”

“But if some clubs, they offer me, like, they make me interested, I’m gonna accept this because this is my childhood dream. I love football. I follow football since when I was a kid when I was a child. This is my first love.” {H/T MMA Fighting}
