Khamzat Chimaev issues a call out for Sean Brady after UFC Vegas 43
Sean Brady vs Khamzat Chimaev
Khamzat Chimaev has his eyes set on a new target! Sean Brady got the biggest win of his career against Michael Chiesa at the co-main event of UFC Vegas 43. Chiesa was coming off from a loss against Vicente Luque, and he was motivated to get back in the win column.
Not only did Brad secure the victory against him, he out-wrestled Chiesa, which is a feat on its own. Brady is now getting some attention, and one of the most dominant prospects Khamzat Chimaev called him out for a fight.
He replied to UFC’s story, and wrote, “I want to fight this guy let’s fight bro.” Chimaev has dominated every opponent he has ever faced. His recent bout against Li Jingliang at UFC 267 showed how good he is. He is getting better with every fight, and if this fight can materialize into something real, then fans are in for a treat.
Brady hasn’t replied to this call out but we are pretty sure he will accept it, because just like Chimaev, Brady is always game.
Khamzat Chimaev dominated Jack Hermansson in a wrestling match
Khamzat Chimaev makes his case that he is as good in wrestling as it comes, whether to set it up in MMA or showcase it in a freestyle match. The Swedish-Chechen undefeated mixed martial artist defeated Jack Hermansson, who’s a weight class above him in the UFC, in a freestyle wrestling match. Now, we know no one would be taking Chimaev lightly in the welterweight division of the UFC.
Chimaev lands Hermansson on his back within the first few seconds of the match. Chimaev takes the top position while trying to pin Hermansson down which takes hardly twenty seconds into the match until the first pin is in favor of Chimaev. The second pin taken by Chimaev takes just 10 seconds and Chimaev is already 4 points ahead of his opponent. Hermansson slams Chimaev for the third pin but it’s not yet known if Chimaev was able to recover fast or has Hermansson nailed a perfect 4 pointer.
The second round of the match is very competitive as both the guys do a great job in defending from the angles they were supposed to be vulnerable from. Finally, the bout was over and Chimaev was announced as the winner, but wait! There’s more to come.
