The Rock and Joe Rogan

Joe Rogan has recently faced some criticism after he was accused of spreading misinformation about COVID 19 on his Spotify podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. One of the big names who were not happy with Rogan was the Rock music legend, Neil Young. The Canadian music writer called out Spotify for spreading lies about COVID 19. Most of the controversy is related to the recent episodes of JRE which featured the cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough and Immunologist Dr. Robert Malone.

Many doctors rallied against him, and Rogan actually addressed all the accusations in a recent Instagram video, he apologized to everyone for putting any wrong information out there, and he said he would absolutely do everything in his capacity to make sure he puts the best content out there for his fans.

Many came in support of Rogan after he posted that video, Israel Adesanya, Belal Muhammad, Gilbert Burns, Frankie Edgar, and to everyone’s surprise, The Rock came in his support as well. Rock wrote, “Great stuff here brother. Perfectly articulated. look forward to coming on one day and breaking out the tequila with you.”

Rogan is catching more heat than ever. Following his Spotify controversy, the UFC commentator is now being slammed by singer India Arie for his use of the N-word in his podcast and other racist comments.

Grammy award-winning singer posted a series of clips on her Instagram explaining why she wants her music removed from the platform. India also attached clips of Joe using the n-word and a clip where he makes a joke about walking into a black neighborhood. Don Winslow brought this incident to The Rock’s attention, and he made a statement about his stand on this whole situation.

He wrote, “Dear @donwinslow Thank you so much for this I hear you as well as everyone here 100% I was not aware of his N word use prior to my comments, but now I’ve become educated to his complete narrative. Learning moment for me. Mahalo, brother and have a great & productive weekend. DJ”
