Dan Hooker returned to the featherweight division to take on undefeated athlete, Arnold Allen at UFC London. Hooker was 1-3 in his last 4 fights, and he was looking to get back on the win column with this event. Unfortunately for him, Allen proved out to be too good for him, and he stopped Hooker in the very first round of their contest.

Allen extended his win streak to 10 with this win, and for Hooker, it was a tough pill to swallow. Dan was involved in some of the most grueling battles throughout his career, but now fans are really worried about his future. He is yet to react to his loss, but his opponent believes this wasn’t a smart move from his side.

Talking about it during the post-fight interview, Allen said, “I personally didn’t think it was the best choice. If anything, someone like that, going up maybe again would be a good idea, but he knows his body, he knows how he feels. But yeah, I think his best work’s at lightweight. Not a knock at him or anything obviously.”

Dana White was asked to comment on Hooker’s position in the company. Dana isn’t giving up on Hooker just yet, and he would let him decide if he wants to continue at the featherweight or if he wants to get back at the lightweight division. He said, “That’s up to him. He came in and performed tonight. He made weight, he came in and went to war with a guy who’s undefeated in this weight class and he can do whatever he wants to.”
