“Love to beat that ugly potato face,” Henry Cejudo details what could convince him to fight Petr Yan in Russia
Henry Cejudo calls out Petr Yan
Petr Yan better watch out because the former two-division champion Henry Cejudo is coming to take on Yan in Russia.
“Triple C” Henry Cejudo is ready to settle his beef with bantamweight interim champion, Petr Yan. The fighter is willing to go to the extent of fighting him in Russia. In the very recent episode of the “DC&RC” show by ESPN, Cejudo made an appearance on spoke about how he would like to make a comeback.
Henry has been teasing a return to the octagon for a long time but that doesn’t seem to be the reality. But Cejudo will never back down from his trash talk. Cejudo says he wants to beat up Yan in front of his own country. “Listen, I’ll tell you what man, I’d love to beat that ugly potato face in Russia. Go out there in Rocky-style, with my Gucci shoes, chinchilla suit. I will massacre that dude in front of his own country,” said Cejudo in the interview.

“Quit coaching just like fighting” – Petr Yan is not impressed by Henry Cejudo’s training
“I want my money” Henry Cejudo believes he deserves a money fight
Henry has not fought since 2020 when he beat Dominick Cruz in a bantamweight title bout at UFC 249 and then announced retirement. Recently, Cejudo also called out the promotion to fill in as a late replacement for the featherweight title shot against Alexander Volkanovski but Dana White shut down Henry’s demands.
“The only thing is that I just want that bag full of money, man. I feel like I deserve it,” said Cejudo talking to Daniel Cormier. Cejudo has now transitioned to coaching and also most recently helped the former flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo reclaim his belt from Brandon Moreno at UFC 270.
Yan also recently commented on Cejudo’s coaching skills and asked for him to retire. “Not impressed, I think Cejudo need to quit coaching just like he quit fighting,” wrote the Russian. Henry is now helping train fighters like Zhang Weili, Deiveson Figueiredo, and Jon Jones. Do you think we will ever see Cejudo return to the octagon?
