The former two-division UFC champion, Conor McGregor is still recovering from the devastating leg injury he faced against Dustin Poirier at their trilogy fight on UFC 264. While McGregor won only one out of his last four fights, he is planning to move to the Welterweight division and face someone like Kamaru Usman.

Conor McGregor and Kamaru Usman have engaged with each other multiple times over social media but according to former UFC Middleweight champion and UFC Hall of Famer, Michael Bisping, it is a really bad idea for McGregor to ever face Usman.

While talking to True Geordie on the Pain Game Podcast, Bisping says, “Imagine what Kamaru Usman would do to him, I’m not saying that as a McGregor hater. And I’m not a f**king hater. I respect the body of work that he’s done, just not the antics and the last few performances.”

McGregor holds a record of 2-1 in the UFC Welterweight division and he holds victories over Donald Cerrone and Nick Diaz. With one of his tweets, McGregor showed intention for moving to the upper-weight class. He says, “140, 155, 170” and hints at becoming the first-ever three-division UFC champion.

But Kamaru Usman thinks must be his death wish to come in Welterweight division and face him. In one of his interviews, Usman says, “He must want to die. I mean, what?! He must want to die. This is not ’45, ’55. You saw what Khabib did to him.”

“Oh my god, it wouldn’t even be fair if I fought Conor. Much respect to Conor for what he’s done for this sport and transcended it. But nah, this ain’t what you want. Just sit down little man, sit down. Learn to walk before you could run because I would hurt that guy.”
