Michael Chandler went on a war against Justin Gaethje at UFC 268, these two fought their a** off, and after three rounds of absolute carnage, Gaethje came out on top with a unanimous decision victory. Even though Chandler lost the fight, people were amazed by his toughness and ability to leave it all inside the octagon.
After the fight, Chandler claimed that he was enjoying himself back there in the Madison Square Garden, in fact, he started having so much fun that he absolutely bailed on the gameplan, and started trading blows with Justin with his hands down low, talking to Daniel Cormier about this fight, he said, “I got caught up in the moment, that was the time when I didn’t have any thoughts about Winning or Losing. I didn’t listen to his coach for those important 50 mins of the match. It felt so loud it was bananas inside there and I was all lonely in the ring but I did care about the fans and they won as per my side.”
He then stated that everything feels nice until the pain from all the injuries kicks in, “It feels nice but till Wednesday it feels worst your injuries start paining. I have injuries in both my legs, foot so ya but face it’s the best part I can do it with some black and red color and it looks fantastic. It was more the body pain that I was in about the first two weeks. But I did lots of recovery stuff lot of manual bodywork, a hyper bird chamber, and my body feels great now I am about to get back to training.”

Michael Chandler started his UFC career by knocking out Dan Hooker in the very first round of their contest, he then faced the lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira for the belt, and came very close to becoming the champ, he almost stopped Oliveira, but he recovered well and turned the tides in his favor to become the champion. Then Chandler faced Justin Gaethje in a possible fight of the year contender, he is now going back and forth with Conor McGregor, and DC believes it is the best start anyone could get to their UFC career.
Chandler responded to this by saying, “I haven’t thought about it like that because I’ve just been so focused on each of the fights you know my goal was to get into UFC once I knew I was testing free agency I knew I wanted to go to UFC that was the first goal then I wanted to come in and make a statement made my make myself be known right away.”
