Unfortunately, he doesn’t hold the UFC lightweight belt currently as it was stripped of him before the fight. The fighter suffered that huge loss for not making the weight limit at the weigh-ins.

After winning the bout, in the post fight interview ‘ Do Bronx ‘ claimed that with or without the belt he is the current champion. The fighter also called out Conor McGregor for a fight and told him not to run away.

Dana White, you can put anyone in front of me. I’m not going to choose. Hey, Conor McGregor. Are you coming up? Or are you going to run away?,” said Oliveira.

Many fans are surprised by this tweet but it wasn’t that random as Diaz has been already putting up posts to roast Oliveira for a week. Some fans in the comments section agreed to what Diaz said but most were honest and suggested the fighter that’s not true.

Oliveira is currently on a whole different level than anybody else in the lightweight as well as few in the welterweight division. Diaz is known for his stand up game and the ability to take hits. But Oliveira can easily get a hold of Diaz and get a submission in the initial rounds. It’s very hard to see this fight ever take place but it’s not impossible.
