22-year-old Chase Hooper admits to following the “O’Malley approach” in his fighting career

Chase Hooper talks about the "Sean O'Malley approach"
UFC featherweight Chase Hooper is in no hurry to fight at the top of the division. The youngster wants to follow the Sean O’Malley blueprint to pick fights and make the most before he reaches the creme de la creme of the UFC’s featherweight division.
Chase Hooper is a 22-year-old featherweight fighter with a professional record of 11-2-1. The fighter is beginning to get praise from the fans but this won’t faze the fighter from taking a steady approach to his career. According to Hooper, he would want to fight as many low-ranked fighters as he can for a decent amount of money before he could actually meet the big guns of the roster.
Sean O’Malley is now a superstar of the bantamweight division and gets his spot on the biggest of pay-per-view events in UFC. The “Suga Show” very recently entered the rankings of the bantamweight division despite already having 7 wins in his UFC career. At the UFC Vegas 55 post-fight press conference, Chase explained why he thinks the “O’Malley approach” is the right way to go about his career.
When asked about his next move in the UFC, Chase replied, “I’ve never been one to call people out. The O’Malley approach is always a great one.” Chase is a Contender Series graduate and has five fights in the UFC. He is 3-2 in the promotion so far.
Chase Hooper wants to fight in the highest spot on the card

Chase ‘The Dream” Hooper
“Fight the lowest ranked guy for the most amount of money on the highest spot on the card,” seems to be the mantra for Chase for his upcoming fights in the UFC. “I’m just gonna go back, look at the things I did well this fight, look at the things I need to improve on…it’s just about continuing to make those improvements and waiting for that call from the UFC.”
Chase is still a very young fighter and has a lot of potential in him. His last fight against Felipe Colares earned him the performance of the night bonus at UFC Vegas 55. The fighter got his third finish in UFC. All of Hooper’s previous appearances have been on the pay-per-view cards. The featherweight fighter is very likely to end up on the same card as O’Malley in the near future with the kind of performances he puts on.
