“For another bonus”- Adrian Yanez expresses interest in making short work of Tony Kelley yet again
Yanez flips the bird at Kelley after his TKO victory
Adrian Yanez and Tony Kelley went against each other at UFC Austin, headlined by Calvin Kattar and Josh Emmett. Before the fight, there was a lot of anticipation for the fight as the rivalry started way earlier on Twitter. Kelly was previously seen talking trash and slurs towards Brazilian fighter Viviane Araújo during her fight against Andrea Lee.
After that, the fighter faced a lot of backlash on social media and Yanez promised he would take care of it in the fight. A huge wave of fans were with the fighter and were supporting him. Yanez didn’t let the fans down and dropped Kelley in the first round via a series of nasty hooks.
It was an extremely satisfying end to the fight for the millions of Brazilian fans who are with Yanez in that fight. That one fight made Yanez a superstar with many followers who are waiting for his next fight.
Adrian Yanez confirms he is ready to fight Tony Kelly again
Yanez was again caught up in a new tweet altercation regarding Kelley recently.
A twitter user posted a screenshot of Kelley’s comments on Instagram in which the fighter was talking about Yanez being scared of him and not willing to fight. The user shared the screenshot and tagged Yanez on twitter. He wrote :
“Getting knocked out in round 1 wasn’t enough for this dude? @yanezmma.”
Yanez was quick to reply to that tweet and revealed that if necessary he is willing to do a rematch with Kelley just to win and get the bonus prize.
“??♂️??♂️??♂️ I’d run it back for another bonus,” wrote Yanez.
Yanez for that spectacular fight took home the Performance of the Night bonus and it’s no harm for the fighter to get another easy one of those. On the other hand, Kelley might just want to use this to Lure Yanez for a rematch which would be better than last time. However, after that fight it’s hard for UFC to give this rivalry another chance as the winner was pretty clear.
