Adrian Yanez and Tony Kelley went against each other at UFC Austin, headlined by Calvin Kattar and Josh Emmett. Before the fight, there was a lot of anticipation for the fight as the rivalry started way earlier on Twitter. Kelly was previously seen talking trash and slurs towards Brazilian fighter Viviane Araújo during her fight against Andrea Lee.
After that, the fighter faced a lot of backlash on social media and Yanez promised he would take care of it in the fight. A huge wave of fans were with the fighter and were supporting him. Yanez didn’t let the fans down and dropped Kelley in the first round via a series of nasty hooks.
It was an extremely satisfying end to the fight for the millions of Brazilian fans who are with Yanez in that fight. That one fight made Yanez a superstar with many followers who are waiting for his next fight.

Yanez and Tony had a fallout on Twitter after the fight, and Yanez offered to break his face again for another easy paycheck. Yanez talked about the emotions he felt during the buildup of the fight, and the support he received from fans from around the world. Talking to AllStar, he said, “It’s an awesome moment for me. Man, that was a lot of emotion. That was a lot of raw emotion, of me just wanting to f*** that guy up, man.”
He added, “I don’t like that guy. I genuinely don’t like that guy, man. Not even just because of the comments he said, the but stuff leading up, and I heard a lot of stuff about him. It’s a different thing whenever I’m going through the hallways and the UFC staff is telling me to f*** him up.”
“That was the first guy I’ve had be like, ‘F**k that guy up. Beat the s**t out of him.’ And there’s been so many thank yous after me whooping him that everybody’s like, ‘Thank you, man, f**k.’ Those are the nicest people in the world, too, man, so it means a little bit more. It was a little bit more satisfying,” Yanez concluded.
