Tom Aspinall aims to become the third UFC champion from Britain after Michael Bisping and Leon Edwards. He will fight a dangerous contender in Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295. Nina Marie Daniele recently interviewed Alex Pereira in a candid interview where he picked a four-man UFC team to fend off a hypothetical alien invasion.

Daniele asked Aspinall the same in his interview. This is what Tom Aspinall said to Daniele in the interview on his superteam to fend off alien invasion:

That guy, Alex Pereira, is pretty scary, he's so... I take in, yeah. His opponent, though, Jiri Prochazka, with that weird thing going on his head, that's, in general, that's quite scary. So, them two, yeah, those two.

Unlike Pereira, who thought a little before naming his team, Aspinall quickly named Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka. However, the team named by Pereira was superior in terms of accomplishments. Nevertheless, a team featuring Aspinall, Pereira, and Prochazka is not bad either when looking at the finishing rate of the trio.

Incidentally, the trio will be in action at UFC 294, where Aspinall will face the scariest fighter in the present heavyweight scenario – Sergei Pavlovich. Aspinall’s fight with Pavlovich would set the stage for Prochazka and Pereira to make history at MSG. The bout is poised to provide fireworks as Prochazka and Pereira have exceptional KO power.

Apparently, Holloway and Prochazka share the same manager. Moreover, Pereira’s track record of electrifying finishes at such a renowned venue heightened Holloway’s anticipation for the fight. This is what Max Holloway had to say about Alex Pereira’s impressive record at Madison Square Garden:

We say we share the same manager, in Jiri. It's cr*zy, bro. I read a stat online, saying that Alex's, whenever Alex fights in MSG, in MMA, or kickboxing, he catches a body every time. He fought there, he knocked someone out. When I hear stats like that, that is ins*ne. To think that this man fought in MSG, in kickboxing, and in MMA, and he knocked out someone. So it's a fun fight, man. This fight, I think someone gets finished in this fight. And I also think this fight might be Fight of the Night."

Pereira’s perfect record would be on the line at MSG. Additionally, he would also get the chance to become a double champion there. Becoming a double champion at MSG, the Mecca of sports, is a dream for many. Conor McGregor, Daniel Cormier, and Georges St. Pierre became double champions at MSG. It needs to be noted that only seven have become double champions in the UFC. Pereira has the opportunity to become the eighth come UFC 295.
