Alex Pereira was recently interviewed by Nina Marie-Daniele for her YouTube channel. As expected, Daniele had to ask weird questions which are popular among the audience. She had notoriously misled Khamzat Chimaev with the ‘Smash or Pass’ game.

However, to Pereira, Daniele asked to name three fighters who would fight along with him in a hypothetical alien invasion scenario. Without a moment’s hesitation, the first fighter he named was mentor and friend, Glover Teixeira. However, he took some time to name the remaining two. The answer did not prove to be very surprising as he named two arguable GOATs of MMA. These are the names he said to Daniele in the interview.

The quartet of Alex Pereira, Anderson Silva, Glover Teixeira, and Jon Jones resembled an Avengers-like Alliance. Pereira is a staunch supporter of Jon Jones. He has already said that Jones is the GOAT of MMA and even predicted him to win at UFC 285 against Ciryl Gane.

Teixeira is a close friend of Pereira who even gifted a Harley Davidson to his mentor. Silva is immensely popular in Brazil, and it came as no surprise to see Pereira naming “The Spider”.

Interestingly, Pereira would be fighting Jiri Prochazka, who follows the Bushido code in his upcoming bout at UFC 295. Prochazka being the man who took the belt from Teixeira adds extra motivation for Pereira.

If victorious against Prochazka, Pereira would be the first fighter to be a double champion in multiple sports. He notably held the Glory Kickboxing middleweight and light heavyweight titles.

Bazooka is Alex Pereira’s choice of weapon to fend off Alien invasion

Alex Pereira picked Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, and Glover Teixeira to fend off the Alien invasion. What was even more impressive than the Avengers-rivaling quartet was his choice of weapon. Pereira is known for his expertise in using the crossbow. His choice of weapon almost has a resemblance to the crossbow, albeit very minutely.

When Nina Marie Daniel asked about his choice of weapon to fend off the Alien invasion, this was his reply.

I don't know, I don't know about guns, but the most powerful machine gun bazooka.

When speaking of Bazooka, Pereira has a Bazooka-level left hook that has floored a great many fighters inside the Octagon and the boxing ring. He has knocked out both Sean Strickland and Israel Adesanya with his signature left hook. In kickboxing, a great many fighters have succumbed to the power of “Poatan”. However, it remains to be seen whether it is enough to defeat Jiri Prochazka.
